THE COMEDY ISSUE, NO. 2
In 2016, I launched !Q, an internal, employee-run periodical that contextualizes issues of diversity for Droga5 staff. For each issue, I selected the topic; briefed designers and creatives; and oversaw content development and the budget.
For the second issue, conversations were emerging in society and within the walls of Droga5 about female leadership, particularly questioning what were creative industries depriving themselves of by excluding women.
The Comedy Issue serves as a rallying cry to give women the creative freedom to express their untold stories, unspoken voices and unseen identities in their own voices, on their own terms -- all through the lens of comedy, a creative tool to make us laugh, while we think criticlly about the issue at-hand.
